Responsibilities
- Vulnerability remediation – Critical/Zero Day.
- Ensure MW and DB platforms are built as per client's standards.
- Projects related to the platforms are delivered on time and within budget.
- Hold managed service provider accountable for their deliveries and ensure that the deliveries are as per the SLAs.
- Maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of platforms through compliance and within the security framework designed within client's organisation.
- Provide leadership to the engineering team.
- Manage a performance-based culture and work collaboratively with the managed service partner whilst ensuring that the service provider is held accountable for their deliveries.
- Coach and mentor the team where required.
- Provide technical guidance to the team on the platforms as required.
- Find opportunities to improve even if the activity is small.
- Look at opportunities to automate the processes.
- Ensure compliance with all ITIL processes.
- Maintain relationship with various other client's teams such as security, application teams, architecture team, technical assurance team, etc.
