Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Information Technology)

Employment: Contract - Inside IR35

Location: London, UK - Hybrid

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in AZURE Terraform code
  • Demonstrable experience in GitHub Actions
  • Experience of working in a controlled environment with strict change control
  • Good understanding and practical implementation of both CI and CD
  • Good working knowledge of the installation and configuration of Windows based systems
  • Hands-on experience in Software development
  • Experienced in mentoring and training junior engineers

Essential Criteria

  • Good working knowledge of PowerShell
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Willing to experiment and fail fast
  • Have a security-first focus, baked-in not bolted-on
  • Understanding and ability to provide quality, automated testing as you develop
  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, organisation, self-motivation and a desire for self-improvement
  • Ability to write clear and concise documentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, schedule and manage a demanding workload
