Part-Time Business Support Administrator – IT Services
Grade 4 - £25,626.12 - £27,150.48 per annum (pro rata)
(22.2 hours per week – Minimum of 3 working days)
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a part-time Business Support Administrator to join our busy Shared IT Service between Winchester City Council and Test Valley Borough Council.
The Team
The Business Support Team for the IT Shared Service between Test Valley Borough Council and Winchester City Council, are responsible for supporting the service dealing with the budgets, procurement, and contracts, along with planning the services program of works and projects.
What Will You Be Doing
As an experienced administrator you will be providing support to officers and customers of the IT Shared Service. This is a varied and busy role involving:
- Financial administration, including the raising of purchase orders, processing of invoices and resolution of any related queries.
- Procurement of a variety of IT equipment and software from a range of different suppliers, including software, consultancy, hardware, support and maintenance.
- Supplier management support, securing quotes for services, meeting facilitation, publishing comprehensive meeting agendas and actions.
You will have experience of working in an office administration role and used to working to tight deadlines. Ideally you would be familiar with using financial management systems and Microsoft products. We also want a self-motivated and reliable administrator with the ability to organise and manage a diverse workload.
Working flexibly
This post is a part-time role working 22.2 hours per week. The role is based primarily out of our Andover office but will require travel to Winchester. Potential home working when fully trained up and the nature of the work allows will be possible. There is flexibility of when you can work the 22.2 hours but must be at least 3 working days a week.
