Currently operates a range of enterprise scale workload automation and managed file transfer services that rely heavily on third-party application software. This has resulted in a technical workforce that is primarily composed of product administrators with knowledge of specific vendor solutions but limited exposure to broader engineering practices such as DevSecOps automation and open source technologies.
We are seeking to transform our engineering capability by reducing our dependency on third-party software and fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Our goal is to build a team with strong expertise in open source technologies, modern engineering practices, and end-to-end solution ownership.
The Principal Engineer will play a critical role in this transformation by:
- Leading the adoption of open source and cloud native technologies across our enterprise services
- Upskilling and mentoring existing staff to develop broader engineering and DevSecOps capabilities
- Driving architectural decisions that support long-term sustainability, security, and scalability
- Collaborating across teams to embed best practices and reduce reliance on vendor specific solutions
We are looking for candidates who have a proven track record in engineering leadership, experience with open source and cloud native technologies, and the ability to drive cultural and technical change within large organizations.
