The role ensures ISC is implemented, maintained and optimised to deliver secure automated and scalable identity services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Platform Configuration Administration
    • Administer and maintain the SailPoint ISC platform ensuring stability, performance and security.
    • Configure identity lifecycle processes: Joiner—Mover—Leaver provisioning rules and access request workflows.
    • Manage connectors, sources and application integrations (SaaS, on-prem, cloud).
    • Maintain identity profiles, schemas, attributes and governance policies.
  • Development Customisation
    • Develop and maintain ISC configurations including transformations, rules, workflows, access profiles and entitlement mappings.
    • Build and maintain custom logic using ISC's no-code/low-code capabilities.
    • Support role mining, access modelling and governance configuration.
  • Integration Engineering
    • Configure and troubleshoot ISC connectors (SCIM, REST, JDBC, AD, Azure AD, SaaS apps).
    • Build and maintain API integrations using REST and SCIM standards.
    • Ensure identity data flows correctly between HR systems, directories and applications.
  • Access Governance Compliance
    • Configure and support access certification campaigns.
    • Maintain governance policies, separation of duties (SoD) rules and risk models.
    • Support audit compliance and security reviews related to identity and access.
  • Operational Support
    • Monitor platform health, job execution and provisioning performance.
    • Troubleshoot identity access and provisioning issues.
    • Manage incident resolution and root cause analysis.
    • Maintain platform documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
  • Testing Release Management
    • Support UAT/OAT for new features, integrations and configuration changes.
    • Validate that delivered functionality meets design and security requirements.
    • Follow change management processes for deployments and updates.
  • Collaboration Stakeholder Engagement
    • Work closely with IAM Architects, Solution Designers, BAs and PMs.
    • Collaborate with application owners to onboard new systems into ISC.
    • Engage with SailPoint support and implementation partners when required.
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) or IdentityNow.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts: identity lifecycle, access governance, RBAC, ABAC, access certification.
  • Experience configuring ISC sources, connectors, workflows and transformations.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, SCIM, JSON and modern integration patterns.
  • Experience troubleshooting identity data issues and provisioning failures.
  • Ability to interpret solution designs and translate them into platform configuration.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with SailPoint ISC or other IAM platforms.
  • Experience in regulated or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud identity (Azure AD, AWS IAM, GCP IAM).
  • Understanding of Zero Trust and modern identity security models.
  • Experience with role mining and access modelling.
