Essential skills and experience

• Developing test solutions test plans test cases and execute the test cases
• Planning and implementing testing
• Writing test documentation
• Strong analytical skills enabling effective translation of requirements and technical specifications into quality test artefacts eg test cases test scripts test data etc
• Working as part of an agile team
• Experience of testing in data analytics environments eg
• Experience with ETL testing and validating multiple source databases to target data
• Experience with testing BI reporting eg Tableau dashboards excel outputs
• Proven ability to define and adapt a test approach appropriate to specific technologies and business domain
• Broad knowledge of test tools techniques and approaches and ability to recommend where and how to use them
• Experience working with Product Owners and end users to assure and support UAT
• Excellent written and verbal communication able to effectively communicate complex technical terms with nontechnical colleagues
• SQL and python data querying languages

Desirable skills and experience

• Experience with automating test activities and test automation applications
• Experience with Jira Atlassian

Key responsibilities

• Work with Test Manager and Change Management to support route to production
