During this partnership, you will be able to continue servicing ride sharers in your area while flagging issues with the Uber app. Our unique approach to software testing will allow you to earn two streams of income while you drive: one for completing rides on Uber, and one from flagging bugs you may encounter while driving, all without compromising your typical driver experience.

We are currently looking for drivers in any of the following locations: Columbus, OH; Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN; Tampa Bay, FL; Kansas City; Sarasota, FL; Miami, FL. The pay rate is $30 USD / h, and it is paid weekly via Paypal or Payoneer.

On average, all you’ll need is:

What you’ll do

Here are a couple of examples of testing tasks that you can expect while testing the Uber app:

  • Verify that trip receipts are accurate: check fare, time, distance, promotions and tip calculations to avoid missing earnings.
  • Give feedback on ride or delivery experiences.
  • Evaluate how the app handles multiple orders, cancellations, rider communications, and post-trip feedback, especially during peak hours.
  • Rate the go online/offline experience.
  • Verify that going online or offline works smoothly, even in areas with weak signal or during app updates.
  • Share your opinion on new features.
  • Improve the CarPlay and Android Auto.
  • Test how loyalty rewards are shown.

Create a tester account on our website. Your Testlio account will be your hub for receiving and participating in projects. We will be able to assign work to you based on the information you input in your account, so making sure it is always up to date is the best way to get included in more workspaces.

Receive video instructions on how to prepare for testing the Uber app. Verify your identity and gain special privileges on your Uber app. We’ll be sharing your email with the Uber developers, which will allowlist your account. You will gain special tester privileges and access to tools that will help you test the Uber app.

Begin your Uber Onboarding. Once your account is fully set up, you will be taken through a 1h paid onboarding task. Here, the Uber project will be explained in more detail, so that you’ll be ready to start testing as soon as possible.

You’ve made it to the project! Now that you’re part of the Uber testing team, you can expect invitations via email. These invitations will outline when and what we’re going to test next, and as a freelancer it is your responsibility to accept or decline the invitations depending on your availability.
