We are looking for a commercially astute Procurement Coordinator to join our Purchasing and Supply Chain team at an exciting time of growth. This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly support sales, revenue, and customer delivery outcomes.
Working closely with the Purchasing Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, and commercial negotiations—acting as a key link between purchasing, sales, engineering, and finance. If you enjoy pace, problem-solving, and influencing outcomes in a sales-driven environment, this role offers genuine autonomy and visibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing and procuring materials and services to meet demanding commercial timelines
- Rapidly issuing RFQs and driving timely supplier responses
- Delivering accurate pricing, availability, and alternative sourcing options under tight deadlines
- Supporting sales by ensuring stock availability aligns with customer demand
- Identifying new suppliers and expanding the approved vendor base
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost and quality targets
- Managing supplier performance against SLAs, including audits and reviews
- Owning supplier contracts and ensuring all commercial terms protect company interests and IP
- Monitoring inventory levels daily to meet weekly supply objectives
- Contributing to purchasing strategy and continuous process improvement initiatives
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a confident, commercially driven Procurement Coordinator who’s comfortable operating at pace and influencing both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll ideally bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing, supplier management, or negotiation
- Sales or commercially aligned experience (highly desirable)
- CIPS qualification or working towards (preferred)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
