About The Role
- We are looking for an experienced
- Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in
Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, cloud CI/CD pipelines, and database validation .
The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in building scalable automation solutions and working within Agile delivery environments.
This role requires strong technical expertise in
Selenium, Rest Assured, Azure Cloud CI/CD , and database testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
- Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured.
- Work with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines for automation execution and deployment integration.
- Validate backend systems and perform database testing and SQL validations.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end automation test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, Dev Ops teams, and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and support root‑cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Ensure automation best practices, framework scalability, and code quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Java and Selenium automation.
- Expertise in API Testing using Rest Assured.
- Experience working with Azure Cloud CI/CD pipelines is plus and any other cloud is fine.
- Strong knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
- Good understanding of automation framework design and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
