Responsibilities
- Vulnerability remediation - Critical/Zero day
- Ensure MW and DB platforms are built as per client's standards
- Projects related to the platforms are delivered on time and within budget
- Hold managed service provider accountable for their deliveries and ensure that the deliveries are as per the SLAs
- Maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of platforms through compliance and within the security framework designed within client's organisation
- Provide leadership to the engineering team
- Manage a performance-based culture and work collaboratively with the managed service partner whilst ensuring that the service provider is held accountable for their deliveries
- Coach and mentor the team where required
- Provide technical guidance to the team on the platforms as required
- Find opportunities to improve even if the activity is small
- Look at opportunities to automate the processes
- Ensure compliance to all ITIL processes
- Maintain relationship with various other client's teams such as security, application teams, architecture team, technical assurance team etc.
