An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Street Cleaning Manager. Joining an already high‑performing team, the successful candidate will work from our depot at Bourne House and will have primary responsibility for overseeing all street cleaning operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a street cleaning team carrying out activities such as litter picking, fly tip removal, mechanical sweeping and litter bin emptying.
- Support the Grounds Maintenance Manager covering their absence and provide backup support as required.
- Coordinate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, members of the public and councillors, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and use relevant IT systems to track operations and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Supervisory or management qualification, or equivalent experience, to manage staff effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using relevant IT systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactive team environment.
