£26,574 – £28,155 (Grade 4) | Full Time, 37 hours, Permanent | Romsey

Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our busy Environmental Services team. A vacancy has arisen for the position of Mechanical Sweeper Driver HGV.

Responsibilities

• Undertake mechanical sweeping duties using an HGV mechanical sweeper and other associated street cleaning functions across the Test Valley area.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Hold an appropriate Category C HGV licence (rigid vehicles).
• Evidence of driver CPC is an advantage.
• Experience of working outdoors in all weathers, dealing with the public and working as part of a team is essential.
• Knowledge of street cleansing and of the Test Valley area would be an advantage but not essential.
