We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to join our busy Environmental Services team. A vacancy has arisen for the position of Mechanical Sweeper Driver HGV.
Responsibilities- Undertake mechanical sweeping duties using an HGV mechanical sweeper and other associated street cleaning functions across the Test Valley area.
- Hold an appropriate Category C HGV licence (rigid vehicles).
- Evidence of driver CPC is an advantage.
- Experience of working outdoors in all weathers, dealing with the public and working as part of a team is essential.
- Knowledge of street cleansing and of the Test Valley area would be an advantage but not essential.
- Competitive salary (£26,574 – £28,155).
- Up to 32 days annual leave (dependent on local government service).
- Uniform/PPE.
