Base pay range
Career Grade 6–7 £31,158 - £39,845 per annum | Full Time | Permanent
Based at Beech Hurst, Andover, working across the borough, with hybrid working options.

What You’ll Do
You’ll investigate and seek to resolve a wide range of environmental issues including:
- Noise, smoke, and odour complaints
- Anti‑social behaviour and public health concerns
- Statutory nuisance investigations
- Community engagement and education
- Consult on planning applications
- Participate in out of hours rota
You’ll work closely with residents, businesses, and other council services to deliver high‑quality outcomes that make Test Valley a great place to live.
The postholder will work across the whole of Test Valley; therefore, it is essential to be able to travel to all locations, including some areas that are not accessible by public transport.
Who We’re Looking For

- Graduates in environmental or scientific disciplines
- Experienced professionals from similar environments with transferable skills
- Individuals with strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
