Location: Andover based (working at various locations across Test Valley and in Hampshire)
Contract Type: Full time 37 hours a week
Working Hours: 8 30 am to 4 30pm Monday to Thursday and 4 00pm Friday
Salary: £32,155 20 to £35,026 92 per annum (grade 6)

We have a great opportunity for an experienced multi trade operative to join our team helping to managing repairs and support new developments at our council properties
This is an exciting opportunity based within our trade team that helps us to deliver our maintenance services across Test Valley Borough Council
The team
The trade team you would be joining is made up of professional and friendly, supportive colleagues The team work together and take on all aspects of construction work from electrics and plumbing to carpentry and building
What You'll Be Doing
As our multi trade operative, you'll get to take on a variety of jobs, as well as being given the opportunity to 'multi-task' and get involved in other areas of the team's work We work across a range of commercial properties, and you will be assisting with the established team of tradesman carrying out maintenance and refurbishment work
Experience
We are looking for an all-round experienced individual and a full driving licence is required, which enables you to drive a Council-owned van
- Carpentry
- Plastering
- Plumbing
- General building works and groundworks
Candidates should possess significant experience in their primary trade and be able to undertake work across a range of maintenance areas
Working flexibly
