We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SQL, KQL, various data platforms, Data Fabric, and Big Data technologies. The Data Architect will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective data management and utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Architect, design, and develop scalable and robust data models and structures to support various business needs.
- Data Integration: Integrate disparate data sources into a unified system ensuring data consistency and quality.
- Data Management: Implement data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
- Optimization and Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance and data processing workflows to ensure high efficiency.
- Data products: Create Data contracts and processes to create/update Data products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data products.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, data flows, and infrastructure.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL and KQL; experience with various data platforms (relational, NoSQL, cloud); familiarity with Data Fabric concepts; hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka); experience with telemetry and semi-structured data.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills for analyzing complex data requirements and designing solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.
- Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things).
