Tech Functional Consultant – L1 ServiceNow Full time | Test Triangle | United Kingdom Posted On 02/05/2025 Job Information Work Experience: 5+ years Location: Reading, RG1, United Kingdom Job Description This role involves: ServiceNow Development: Responsible for delivering complex technical solutions within the ServiceNow environment, ensuring outcomes meet business needs. Platform Support: Undertake operational activities including resolving platform incidents, performing version upgrades, housekeeping, and proactive maintenance. Peer Checking: Review colleagues\’ deliverables to ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and agree on the definition of done. Team Planning: Participate in DevOps ceremonies such as sprint planning, show and tell, and sprint review, providing valuable input. Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrable experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, particularly with ITSM and ITOM modules, including designing and delivering technical solutions. Familiarity with integrating external platforms/data into ServiceNow using best practices. Experience with programming languages such as Java. Preferably experienced with ServiceNow modules like HR, SecOps, CMDB, or Virtual Agent. Experience using ServiceNow Catalog Builder and Flow Designer. Experience working within a DevOps environment, understanding related processes and controls. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
