Job Description: TLM Consultant, Developer
We are looking for a Consultant with strong hands‑on experience in building and supporting reconciliation on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher version platform. The candidate should have good knowledge of various types of reconciliation controls (Nostros, Depos, Inter Accounts, Inter System, FOBO, FOCL) for the various Capital Markets asset classes, which will be required to understand business and build rec for the same.
Candidate must have:
- Reconciliation build experience using TLM Premium 2.5 or higher.
- Strong Oracle database development skill.
- Hands‑on experience with Unix Shell scripting commands.
- Production support experience is desirable.
- Exposure to any reporting tool (BIRT, Crystal, SAP BO, etc.).
- Experience with Unix Solaris, Linux Shell scripting (bash/Vi editors/PowerShell).
What y ou will do:
The candidate will perform comprehensive requirement analysis, development, testing (UNIT/SIT/UAT), and implementation of the reconciliations on the Recs platform TLM Premium 2.5 or higher into production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertise in Smart stream TLM tool with hands‑on experience on TLM Premium 2.5 or higher version.
- Detailed hands‑on experience with TLM tools such as Smart Studio, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, Web Connect, Control & CT tools.
- Expertise in Oracle (especially TLM tables) and writing SQL stored procedures.
- Knowledge of TLM database table linkages for analysing production issues from the backend.
- Expertise in exception management and break allocation automation on the TLM platform.
- Proficiency in Unix shell scripting; well versed with frequently used UNIX commands and the Vi editor.
- Well versed in TLM services/usage and logs validation for debugging.
- Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions for rec and end‑user reports using Oracle database.
- Provide production support on a rotational basis.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database troubleshooting, using profiler, database backup procedures.
- Environment knowledge: troubleshooting Windows issues, understanding Unix logs, Linux/Unix Solaris services, patching, server maintenance, application installation, building environments, security patching, network maintenance.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps culture.
- Strong communication skills for conveying clear details to end users/clients during build or testing.
- Knowledge of automated deployment tools is an added advantage.
What you wi ll need to succeed in the role :
- Advanced knowledge working with TLM tools: Smart Studio, Smart Schema, Recon Admin, Web Connect, Control & CT tools.
- Solid SQL experience on Oracle Database and performance optimization.
- Understanding of complex DB objects – stored procedures, database views, triggers, and database structure.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries – joins, updates, scripts for analysis, etc.
- Experience in automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
