Job Responsibilities:
- Work within an Agile team to configure firewall rules for new Landing Zones on Palo Alto NGFW.
- Troubleshoot issues on Palo Alto firewall.
- Configure, design, implement, and manage Palo Alto Network next-generation firewalls at enterprise level.
- Manage Palo Alto firewalls through Panorama, including integration and maintenance.
- Deploy firewalls with IPS, App-ID, URL filtering, and sandboxing features.
- Design and develop enterprise cyber security strategy and architecture for new Azure platform.
- Perform planning, designing, deployment, integration, upgrade, and monitoring of firewall devices.
- Manage firewall releases, including upgrade of firewall images to new or N-1 versions.
- Apply emergency rules on firewalls in case of security incidents.
- Provide product best-fit analysis to ensure end-to-end security covering layered security, zoning, API, endpoint security, data security, compliance, and regulations.
- Demonstrate experience in security assessment against NIST Frameworks, SANS, CIS, etc.
- Provide support during technical deployment, configuration, integration, and administration of security technologies.
- Provide assistance for disaster recovery in the event of security breaches, attacks, intrusions, or unauthorized activity.
- Assist in maintaining a security risk register and helping with internal and external audits.
- Provide training to employees on cyber security topics such as spam and malicious emails.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for cyber security issues and provide timely support and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 5–6 years of experience managing Palo Alto firewall, with more than 10–12 years of experience managing Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls for large client bases.
- Technical soundness and certified equivalent of CCNP Security.
- Hands-on experience with Panorama and integration of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Basic understanding of Azure or other public clouds.
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Palo Alto Network and Azure certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience configuring, designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto Network and Cisco firewalls at enterprise level.
- Knowledge of ITIL or related process-oriented domains such as incident, configuration, change, and problem management.
