Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of complex technical solutions, engaging regularly with cross-functional groups to drive project success.
  • Analyse functional requirements and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues by monitoring systems and processes, implementing timely solutions to minimise disruption and maximise customer satisfaction. Employ a structured approach to problem management, addressing root causes and ensuring long-term stability.
  • Participate actively in stakeholder and delivery team meetings to contribute technical insights, clarify requirements, and ensure project milestones are achieved. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement industry best practices by staying informed about emerging technologies and methodologies. Recommend and adopt improvements that enhance project outcomes and uphold high standards of technical excellence.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems - Demonstrated expertise in administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based environments. This includes a thorough understanding of system internals, user and group management, security policies, and performance optimisation within enterprise-scale deployments.
  • Hands-on Experience with DevOps Toolchains - Substantial experience utilising industry-standard DevOps tools for orchestration and configuration management, specifically Ansible and Jenkins. This encompasses the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines.
  • Advanced Scripting Capabilities - Strong background in developing and maintaining scripts using Python / Powershell and Shell (Bash).
