Job Description: Jira & Service Now Integration Developer/Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Jira-Service Now Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Atlassian Jira/Jira Service Management and Service Now platforms.
The role will focus on automating workflows, synchronising tickets, incidents, changes, and service requests, and delivering seamless enterprise integrations using APIs and middleware technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement bidirectional integrations between Jira and Service Now.
- Develop REST/SOAPAPI-based integration sand automation workflows.
- Configure ticket synchronisation for Incidents, Problems, Changes, Tasks, and Service Requests.
- Build custom scripts, business rules, Flow Designer workflows, Script Includes, andintegration components within Service Now.
- Configure Jira automations, webhooks, and workflow transitions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate withbusinessstakeholderstogatherrequirementsanddefineintegrationarchitecture.
- Ensure security, audit, compliance, and data governance requirements are met.
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and ongoing platform enhancements.

- Strong Service Now development experience (ITSM preferred).
- Experience with third-party integration sand RESTAPIs.
- Service Now Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts.
- Jira Administration and Jira Service Management.
