What you will be involved in
- Working with clients to deliver high quality testing solutions for varied industries
- Designing, executing and maintaining automated UI tests
- API testing
- Performance Testing
- Accessibility Testing
- Promoting a shift left attitude towards Software Testing
- Collaborating with the internal Test Community to share best practices and ideas
Technical Requirements
- Expertise in leading test strategy, its design and development of Test Automation Frameworks, with recommending relevant automation tools and integrating them from scratch (Selenium, REST assured, Playwright, Postman, Cucumber, Cypress)
- Expertise in both manual and automated API testing (Postman, REST Assured, Karate)
- Demonstrated understanding and relevant project experience of various non-functional testing types
- Proficient in at least one or more of the following programming languages (Java, Scala, Javascript, Typescript, C#, Python)
- Demonstrated understanding and experience using core testing principles concepts and methodologies
- Experienced in using and configuring CI tools for continuous testing (Jenkins, Gitlab, Github Actions or similar)
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
Desired skills
- Performance Testing with tools such as JMeter/Gatling, K6
- Previous experience working for a consultancy
- Experience in software testing across a range of industries
- Experience working in distributed teams
- Contract testing experience
- Proven ability to influence, inform and support other team members as well as stakeholders
