Our modern UK headquarters is located on the Quayside in Newcastle’s city centre, providing a collaborative space for our team when they come together. In January 2026, we opened a new office space in the heart of Edinburgh’s Haymarket area for our Scottish employees to collaborate and host socials. Additionally, we have teams located in our international office regions in Wrocław, Poland, and Calgary, Canada, creating a truly global workforce.

What you will be involved in:

  • Working in cross-functional teams with our clients, supporting the delivery of their initiatives
  • Contributing to design, development and the operations of internal applications
  • Communicating effectively, internally and externally
  • Promoting the TDS company values: Passion, Effectiveness, Transparency, Commitment
  • Advocating best practices in software development, including XP (TDD), agility, DevOps and CI/CD
  • Growing the company by contributing to our ongoing recruitment efforts
  • Being a curious technologist with an appetite to develop new skills
  • Mentoring TDS staff, growing their technical and consultancy skills
  • Actively participating in internal product and systems development

Technical Requirements:

A successful candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience working in a cloud technology environment using Azure, with experience building and operating applications within this space. A candidate will have worked with the following technologies:

  • Solid understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services such as logic apps, web apps, app gateways, vnets, APIM etc.
  • Containerisation and orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Service Fabric, Helm
  • An infrastructure as code tool, such as Terraform, ARM Templates
  • A Configuration as Code tool, such as Ansible
  • A DevOps-friendly scripting language, such as Python, Powershell, Bash
  • An understanding of a cloud provider’s IAM architecture and its security implications
  • Continuous Delivery pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, YAML
