DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
- Work in cross‑functional teams with clients, supporting the delivery of their initiatives.
- Contribute to design, development, and operations of internal applications.
- Communicate effectively, internally and externally.
- Promote the TDS company values: Passion, Effectiveness, Transparency, Commitment.
- Advocate best practices in software development, including XP (TDD), agility, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Support the company’s recruitment efforts.
- Be a curious technologist eager to develop new skills.
- Mentor TDS staff, enhancing their technical and consultancy skills.
- Actively participate in internal product and systems development.
Qualifications
In addition to the above responsibilities, a successful candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of professional experience working in a cloud technology environment using AWS.
- Experience building and operating applications within AWS.
- Proficiency with the following technologies:
- Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Configuration‑as‑Code tool: Ansible.
- DevOps‑friendly programming language: Python, Golang or JavaScript (Node).
- Understanding of cloud IAM architecture and security implications.
- Monitoring and logging stack: CloudWatch, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Secrets management: Vault, AWS Secrets Manager.
- Continuous Delivery pipelines: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity.
