Tessl is a fast-growing Series A startup based in London, founded by Guy Podjarny. We’ve raised over $100M from world-class investors including Index Ventures, Accel, GV, and Boldstart. At Tessl, we believe AI is transforming software development. AI Native Developers will define features, architecture, and workflows in specs, not code, guiding the work of AI agents. We’re building the pioneering platform for this new paradigm and leading the developer movement and ecosystem around it. Joining Tessl means becoming an early team member with the opportunity to shape the future of how software is created and maintained.

We’re looking for a Talent Coordinator to support and help scale our hiring efforts at Tessl. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with our People and Talent team, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure a smooth, thoughtful, and well-organised hiring process. You’ll play a key role in keeping things running efficiently - from scheduling interviews and coordinating candidates to supporting the overall candidate experience. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their talent/people career who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment and wants to be part of building a high-quality hiring function from the ground up.

  • Proactive: Takes ownership of tasks and follows through.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Tech Comfortable: Familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and ideally Ashby ATS.
  • Nice to have
    • Experience in a coordination, admin, or people/talent role.
    • Experience running/participating at recruiting events.
    • Exposure to recruitment processes or working with hiring managers.
    • Interest in building strong candidate experiences.
    • Interest assisting with employer branding programming.

    What you’ll do

    • Key Responsibilities
    • Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and interviewers.
    • Candidate Experience: Act as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive and well-communicated experience throughout the process.
    • Process Support: Help keep hiring processes organised and on track, supporting the Talent and People team with day-to-day coordination.
    • ATS Management: Keep our ATS (Ashby) up to date with candidate progress, notes, and interview stages.
    • Stakeholder Support: Work closely with hiring managers to coordinate interviews and keep timelines moving.
    • Hiring Operations: Support general hiring operations, including preparing interview materials, coordinating feedback, and helping maintain consistent processes.

    Salary and benefits

    • Office: Our brand new 10,000 sq. ft office is in the AI hub of Kings Cross, London. We have generous catering and regular social events such as team lunches, drinks, and more. We require all staff to be in our London HQ at least 3 days a week on our anchor days of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
    • Salary: We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills.
    • Benefits: 25 days holiday, health insurance (including dental and vision) which extends to partners and dependents, as well as a company-matched pension. We also provide a commuting stipend for those who live outside London, and a cycle to work scheme.
