Role Overview
We’re looking for a part-time Media Producer to produce and edit multimedia content end-to-end. You’ll work primarily onsite in our Kings Cross studio, collaborating with design and marketing to bring Tessl’s brand to life across podcasts, product demos, and flagship events like DevCon.
Hours: ~16–24 hours/week
What You’ll Do
- Product media production (core responsibility)
- Plan, shoot, and edit product demo videos and showcase livestreams
- Build compelling visual stories around new features and launches
- Event media production
- Capture and edit content at our flagship conference, DevCon, and other events
- Produce livestreamed and on-demand content (e.g. thought leadership panels) in partnership with the Events Marketing Manager
- Deliver high-quality post-event content (video, audio, highlight reels, etc.)
- Podcast production
- Produce and edit selected podcast episodes, using the Tessl Podcast Suite
- Create cutdowns and short-form clips for social media
- Visual brand & collaboration
- Work with the design team to ensure all media reflects Tessl’s visual identity
- Elevate storytelling through consistent visuals, editing, and staging
- Workflow & asset management
- Maintain production schedules, media libraries, and content pipelines
- Create video cutdowns for social media use
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience both producing and editing podcasts, video, and social-first content
- A sharp eye for visual design and brand consistency
- A compelling and confident communicator, with a natural sense of storytelling
- Comfort collaborating with design and marketing teams in a fast-moving environment
- Experience with live or hybrid event production is a plus
- Organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple deadlines
What You’ll Need
- Experience in producing live streamed events and event content for on-demand viewing
- You have created high reach content without agency support that you’ve fully executed yourself
- Experience with video editing tools like Final Cut, After Effects, Premiere or professional tool of your choice
- Strong knowledge of studio and field recording gear, including mics, mixers, and audio interfaces
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a similar role at a content company or advertising or media agency
- You have managed agencies or freelancers to deliver event broadcasts
