About The Role
We’re looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Events and Office Manager to create an exceptional workplace experience at our London HQ, while providing high-quality executional support for our Marketing and Community events program. From planning memorable company gatherings to executing high‑impact external events, you’ll bring energy, organisation, and a strong eye for detail to everything you do.
You’ll work closely with the Operations and Marketing teams, providing operational support for both internal programming and external events. This is a multifaceted role at an exciting time in Tessl’s growth – we’re looking for someone with that special spark to help bring our culture and programming to life!
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- Support tactical execution for external Events – including event sponsorships, speaking slots, booth logistics, etc
- Coordinate with strategic partners
- Maintain an up-to-date events calendar and support the team with speaker coordination.
- Book travel, coordinate signage, booth assets, and promotional materials and delivery to events.
- Liaise with suppliers, venues, and stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare event kits, checklists, and pre/post-event communications using existing templates.
Community Logistics
- Run and support AI Native Dev Community and London chapter events
- Host 3rd party community events at the Tessl Kings Cross office, organising onsite logistics.
Office Operations & Workplace Experience
- Serve as the go‑to person for all office needs, ensuring the space is welcoming, well‑stocked, and running smoothly.
- Set up desks, equipment, and welcome packs for new hires, and support onboarding in partnership with the Operations team.
- Plan and coordinate company socials, seasonal celebrations, offsites, weekly team lunches, and ad‑hoc gatherings.
- Celebrate milestones and team wins while fostering a warm, inclusive, and energising workplace atmosphere.
Who You Are
- 3-5 years’ experience in event management, workplace experience or office management.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- A natural people person – approachable, friendly, and solution-oriented.
- Skilled in basic tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion; CRM experience is a plus.
Salary And Benefits
Office: Our brand new 10,000 sq. ft office is in the AI hub of Kings Cross, London. We have generous catering and have regular social events such as team lunches, drinks and more. We require all staff to be in our London HQ at least 3 days a week on our anchor days of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Salary : We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills and employee share options.
Benefits : 25 days holiday, health insurance, including dental and vision, which extends to partners and dependents, as well as a company-matched pension. We also provide a commuting stipend for those who live outside London, and a cycle to work scheme.
