Overview of role
We\’re hiring our first AI Business Ops Specialist, a multi-hatted role in a company that is moving with pace and urgency. Your goal will be to automate as much work as possible and create scaleable internal processes using AI. This is a unique opportunity to shape how LLMs become embedded in our daily operations.
You\’ll work closely with teams across the organization to identify high-impact problems and solve them with AI. With an organization focused on AI, comprised mainly of software and product engineers, you\’ll be well supported to innovate, experiment and iterate quickly with internal workflows and processes. You will be also be the welcoming first point of contact for everything IT in a MacOS/Google Workspace environment where SaaS and AI tools are used extensively by the small and growing team.
This role is ideal for an IT or Biz Ops pro who has the curiosity and enthusiasm to leverage AI for business improvement.

What you\’ll do
Here\’s an insight into some of the things you could be doing:
- Collaborate with teams across the business to understand pain points and identify high-impact automation or process improvement opportunities
- Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools and workflows that enhance productivity and operational efficiency
- Design and deploy automation solutions that reduce manual work and improve accuracy of routine tasks
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and assess their potential impact on business operations
- Train team members on new AI tools and workflows, ensuring successful adoption across the organization
- Act as a high-trust owner of systems that may handle sensitive data or business-critical logic
- Enable knowledge sharing in Notion, creating intuitive information architecture that facilitates easy discovery and help employees surface information across the organization through improved tooling and processes
- Serve as primary administrator for business applications, managing permissions, integrations, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining hardware systems.

Essential
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for exploring new AI technologies and understanding their practical applications
- High level of ownership and accountability, especially with sensitive or business-critical data
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment with shifting priorities
- A natural collaborator who enjoys being a partner and creating utility for others
- 2+ years of proven business operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have
- Software engineering experience
- Proven track record of successfully implementing AI tools or automation solutions in a business context
- Experience with workflow automation platforms or demonstrated ability to identify and execute process improvements
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems management, including SaaS administration, user management and Mac device management (e.g. Jamf)
Salary and benefits
Office: Our brand new 10,000 sq. ft office is in the AI hub of Kings Cross, London. We have generous catering and have regular social events such as team lunches, drinks and more. We require all staff to be in our London HQ at least 3 days a week on our anchor days of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Salary : We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and skills and employee share options.
Benefits : 25 days holiday, health insurance, including dental and vision, which extends to partners and dependents, as well as a company-matched pension. We also provide a commuting stipend for those who live outside London, and a cycle to work scheme.
