The Role
We are looking for a management consultant with 4-8 years of experience in a Big 4 or other well-regarded consultancy, ideally with a strong background in multi sector programme and project management and operational strategy (e.g. roadmap, business case). You will play a key role in leading client engagements, advising senior stakeholders, designing and delivering transformational change mainly across retail and consumer businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead complex transformation programmes, including supply chain, digital, store operations, HR, finance, and customer experience initiatives.
- Work closely with C-suite and senior stakeholders to shape strategies and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Apply best-in-class programme and project management techniques.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals and pitches.
- Coach and mentor junior consultants, fostering a high-performance culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience in a Big 4 or top-tier consultancy, with experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer sectors.
- A proven track record in programme and project management, delivering complex transformations from strategy to execution.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
- Experience in business analysis, business change, operating model design, digital transformation, or supply chain transformation.
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a boutique, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience managing consulting teams to deliver on agreed outcomes.
Ideally you will also have some or all the following:
- Strong experience in Retail, FMCG or consumer sectors, either as a consultant or via industry roles.
- Knowledge of key methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, Prince2, or PMP.
- Experience of procuring and selecting systems and vendors.
- Experience of selling consulting services.
- Project budget responsibility.
