LOCATION: You can be based anywhere in the region, including the central belt of Scotland, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, among others. This is not an exhaustive list. You must be able to travel by car.
This role is part of JDP's Senior Management Team and reports directly to the national Head of Sales. You’ll play a key role in feeding market intelligence back into the business.
You will need:
- Product knowledge and experience in the civil drainage industry or a closely related industry
- Strong leadership skills
- A proven track record of successful sales
- Experience in managing and developing an external sales team that has met and exceeded sales targets with your support and guidance
- Experience in winning new and existing customers
- Commercial and financial acumen to maximize profitability and growth
- Natural relationship-building and business development skills
- The ability to travel regularly across your regions (a company car is provided)
You will be responsible for the performance of all sales activities across your geographic region. You should be confident in promoting JDP's market profile and increasing market share. Your team will enjoy working under your leadership and will be motivated and supported by you.
