We are looking for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join us at our Colchester site. If you’re someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and thrives as part of a friendly, supportive team, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you! No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in helping our branch run smoothly while building valuable skills along the way.
This role involves:
- Providing customers with product and service information
- Picking customer orders accurately
- Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
- Processing orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
- Serving customers on the trade counter when required
Qualifications Job Requirements Required:
- Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills
- Literacy & Numeracy
- A hardworking & helpful individual to train in all aspects of our operation
- An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment
- Forklift truck licence
- Warehouse experience
- Basic knowledge of computers
