Your role:
As a Software Engineer you\’ll build captivating full stack web applications across all backend services and REST APIs that form the core platform e.g. payments. You\’ll focus on backend development using C# .Net Core within an AWS cloud environment with Docker, Terraform (IaC), TeamCity, SQL and Redis; you\’ll gain exposure to a wide range of technology, with occasional front end work and will be able to input into technical discussions within a collaborative Agile team.

Location / WFH:
There\’s a hybrid work from home policy with 2-3 days a week; when you\’re in the office you\’ll be collaborating with fellow technologists in a relaxed environment in awesome custom built offices in Sunderland with a range of facilities and perks including free meals at the onsite restaurant as well as membership at onsite gym.

About You

• You have strong backend development experience with C# .Net
• You have a good knowledge of AWS (or other Cloud services, e.g. Azure. GCP)
• You have experience of building scalable, reliable and secure web applications and REST APIs using modern techniques
• You have experience of implementing frontend applications and are comfortable with occasional front end work using JavaScript / TypeScript
• You\’re collaborative with great communication skills
