Overview
A motivated and passionate Teacher of English is required to join a progressive and supportive educational setting. The successful candidate will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, contribute to curriculum development, and support students in achieving their full potential both academically and personally.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support the subject leader in developing the English curriculum.
- Uphold the school’s behaviour management systems to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Monitor and support the progress and development of students within the subject.
- Incorporate the Self-Directed Learning philosophy into lesson planning and delivery.
- Mentor students in either the Lower or Upper school.
- Provide opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, including enrichment activities.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by the leadership team.

- Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the wider vision of the school.
