Job Details

The role is a fixed term maternity cover at UHI Perth. The successful candidate will work 24.25 hours per week (0.69FTE), earning a pro-rated salary of £41,833 - £50,359 per annum.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team on a fixed term basis for maternity cover. We deliver a full-time academic year programme for local migrants and international students, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. Lecturers work closely with colleagues across the team, so we are looking for someone with good communication skills who can collaborate effectively and contribute positively to a team-based approach.
• The successful candidate may be required to deliver a range of programmes, including SQA units, Cambridge examination preparation courses, Academic English, and bespoke training for commercial clients.

Requirements

• Experience of teaching learners of different ages, nationalities, and language proficiency levels is essential. Applicants must hold either a Trinity Certificate in TESOL or a Cambridge CELTA qualification and have experience in preparing and delivering ESOL programmes.
