Sandwell College is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in GCSE English Language on a full‑time, permanent basis. The postholder will be responsible for delivering GCSE English programmes to resit learners aged 16‑18, supporting learner progress and achievement, and contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement activities. The role requires a consistent focus on high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment, alongside effective learner support within a further education setting.
Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning quality, promoting positive student outcomes and an engaging college experience.
- Deliver allocated programmes as directed by the line manager.

- Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£26,661 – £29,998) – Applies if the applicant does not hold one of the above qualifications.
