The Role
New City College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to join our team. As a Group IT Manager, you will provide operational management of multi-site IT and network support systems.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities
You will oversee IT and network support systems, ensuring stability and availability. You will lead or assist in major IT projects, ensuring they run on time and within budget. Additionally, you will manage IT Managers and engineers, implementing training and development programmes. Ensuring IT services comply with legislation, College policies, and best practices is crucial. You will also prepare and deliver reports, statistics, and management information.
Who You Are
Ideally, you are educated to degree level with relevant professional qualifications. You possess excellent customer-facing skills, experience with call logging systems, are self-motivated, a team player, and have strong written and oral communication skills. You have in-depth knowledge of networking technologies, Office 365, SCCM, SAN technologies, Exchange, VMware, WSUS, firewalls, cyber security, Microsoft services, backup technologies, wireless systems, disaster recovery, risk analysis, cloud technologies, Linux administration, and project management. You demonstrate strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, operate effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
