Morgan Hunt is working with a college in Suffolk to recruit a passionate and dedicated ESOL Lecturer to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity to teach young learners aged 16-18 who are new to the UK, delivering ESOL courses from pre-entry to Entry Level 3. You will support students in developing their English language skills to progress onto full-time vocational programmes within the college.

Responsibilities of the ESOL Lecturer

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of ESOL levels (pre-entry to Entry Level 3)
  • Create engaging lessons that motivate and inspire 16-18-year-old learners
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to ensure student progression
  • Track learner progress and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the ESOL curriculum

Requirements of the ESOL Lecturer

  • Hold a relevant ESOL teaching qualification such as CELTA, TESOL, TEFL or DELTA
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one
  • A genuine passion for teaching and learner success
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
