EAL Support Mentor required for a mainstream secondary school in Camden, starting in September. The ideal candidate will be qualified in TESOL, TEFL or CELTA and have experience supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

The role involves working closely with students who speak EAL, providing tailored support to develop their English language skills and enabling them to fully access the curriculum. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with teaching staff to adapt learning materials
  • Monitoring student progress
  • Delivering targeted interventions
  • Supporting students both in and out of the classroom

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification (TESOL, TEFL or CELTA), have experience working with secondary-aged students, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
