Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Controller to join our Customer Service team at Warrington.
The Customer Controller will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent contract support and customer service in a fast-paced environment to ensure a professional service to Stobart customers.
Shift and Salary
Shift: 4 on 4 off Days
Salary: £26,064
Key Duties
- Act as the first point of contact with our customers regarding their deliveries, from collection to delivery, escalating issues as needed.
- Accurately create all customer orders on ESL in-house system according to customer requirements.
- Liaise with Planning Teams and handle change requests to ensure timely collection and delivery.
- Manage Driverline calls and coordinate with Forecasting, Planning, and AM teams on additional loads and costs.
- Proactively monitor delivery compliance, investigate issues, and report findings.
- Ensure accuracy of reported information, seeking guidance from CS Manager when necessary.
- Learn and utilize customer-specific systems.
- Report additional costs correctly within designated timeframes.
- Complete reports such as customer dashboards and discrepancy reports.
- Ensure all consignments are rated accurately and within timescales.
- Complete daily task lists to confirm all requirements are met.
- Support the Customer Service team as needed and stay updated on news and process changes.
Qualifications
- GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Good geographical or transport knowledge.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
