Role Overview
This hybrid teaching and growth role demands an experienced, qualified TEFL/ESL professional who is equally driven to teach and to identify market expansion opportunities. You will deliver both general and academic English to international learners-online and in-person-and support Exponus’s growth strategy in the UK and Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Student Support
– Design and deliver engaging English lessons (reading, writing, listening, speaking), both general and academic, in alignment with UK standards.
– Help students engage with UK academic culture, expectations, and study processes.
– Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor lessons to individual needs and cultural backgrounds.
Business Development
– Identify and pursue new business and partnership opportunities across the UK and Middle East.
– Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, language centres, and partner organisations.
– Work with the marketing team to design targeted outreach and promotional strategies.
– Represent Exponus at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
– Provide insights and market intelligence to inform programme development and strategy.
About You
– TEFL qualification required (CELTA, TESOL, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent).
– Proven teaching experience with international learners-ideally within UK academic settings.
– Strong knowledge of UK education systems, academic culture, and student engagement methods.
– Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
– Business-minded with a flair for identifying and developing new opportunities.
– Self-motivated, proactive, with capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
