UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic individual to join our team of ESOL lecturers. We run a full-time academic year programme which caters for local migrants and students from overseas. Lecturers work in close collaboration with other members of staff, so we are looking for someone with good communication skills, who can work well as part of a team.
You may be asked to deliver SQA units, Cambridge exam preparation, Academic English, or bespoke units for commercial clients.
Experience of teaching a range of ages, nationalities and levels is essential, together with a Trinity Certificate in TESOL or Cambridge CELTA with experience of preparing and delivering ESOL.
This post undertakes regulated work with children and a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme check is required. A check will be made against the list of those barred from working with children.
