We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education provider for a TESOL Assessor/Tutor on a temporary basis until 31st July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ESOL professional who is passionate about supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and develop their English language skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, whilst supporting learners throughout their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and effective TESOL/ESOL teaching sessions.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support learners in achieving their qualifications and individual learning goals.
- Maintain accurate learner records and assessment documentation.
- Develop learning resources that meet curriculum requirements.
- Monitor learner attendance, engagement and achievement.
- Ensure all teaching and assessment activities meet awarding body and organisational standards.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to learners where required.
- Assessor Award (A1, TAQA or equivalent).
- PTLLS, AET, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous TESOL/ESOL teaching and assessment experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
