EAL Support Mentor - Enfield - £105-£140 per day - Long Term - Mainstream Secondary School - September Start
Responsibilities
- Support students with English as an Additional Language across KS3 and KS4 to help them access the curriculum.
- Deliver targeted interventions, provide in-class and small-group support, and monitor language development.
- Adapt learning with teaching staff where appropriate and encourage confidence inside and outside the classroom.
- Support speaking, listening, reading and writing skills development.
Qualifications
- Qualified with TESOL, TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting EAL learners within a secondary school or educational setting.
- Strong communication, cultural awareness, patience, and passion for helping students reach their potential.
