Job Title: EAL Teaching Assistant
Location: Kensington and Chelsea
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Contract: Full Academic Year (Term-Time Only)
Daily Rate: £90 – £110 per day

A well-regarded secondary school in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EAL Teaching Assistant to join their team from the 1st of September for the full academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a diverse and dynamic school community, providing targeted language and academic support to EAL pupils across KS3 and KS4. The successful EAL Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping students develop their English language skills, integrate fully into school life, and achieve their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support EAL students in both one-to-one and small group settings.
Assist in developing and delivering engaging EAL interventions and resources.
Work closely with subject teachers to adapt lesson content for EAL learners.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
Help EAL students settle into the school environment and support cultural integration.Requirements:

Must hold a TEFL or TESOL qualification (essential).
Previous experience working with secondary school-aged pupils is highly desirable.
A genuine interest in education and language development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
