We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our curriculum team at Cadbury College on a fixed‑term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students preparing for careers within the health and care sector.

As a Lecturer in Health & Social Care, you will deliver engaging and high‑quality teaching across a range of programmes, helping students develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for progression into employment or further study. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and student support while creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment that enables learners to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality Health & Social Care lessons
  • Develop engaging teaching materials and learning resources
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback

  • Experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications

Teaching Qualifications & Salary Banding

To be eligible for our Qualified Lecturer salary banding (£31,837 - £48,160), you must hold one of the following teaching qualifications:

  • DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
  • Certificate in Education
  • PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education)
  • ProfGCE (Professional Graduate Certificate in Education)
  • DET (Diploma in Education and Training)
  • DiT (Diploma in Teaching) – if for a vocational subject

If you do not hold one of the above qualifications, you will fall into our Unqualified Lecturer salary banding (£26,661 - £29,998).
