What To Expect
As a Vehicle Readiness Specialist at Tesla, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer delivery experience. Your responsibilities will include vehicle preparation, vehicle inspections, effective parking management, and active collaboration with your team to enhance pre‑delivery processes. You will ensure that every customer vehicle is meticulously prepared and ready for delivery.
You are part of a larger sales, service and delivery team who works closely and flexibly on all operations. You are expected to cooperate frequently and display a one‑team mentality to achieve sales and delivery targets.
What You\’ll Do
- Use Tesla proprietary software to log damages to vehicles due to transportation damage, and ensure that the paperwork is submitted correctly for claims
- Perform a technical inspection on all vehicles prior to delivery, document and rectify any issues that are found
- Ensure that the vehicles are delivery‑ready: license plate holders attached, customer accessories installed, plastic removed, etc.
- Manage vehicle arrivals, inventory across multiple locations, and safely move and charge vehicles as part of the pre‑delivery process
- Clean vehicles in compliance with Tesla’s standards before delivery
- Operate equipment such as buffers, hoses, vacuums, etc. to perform detailed cleaning
- Apply protective finishes to the exteriors of our customers’ cars
- Effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional quality
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support business operations
What You\’ll Bring
- Full driving licence which should be held for 2 years and over with no more than 6 points
- Right to work in the UK
