Responsibilities
- Own fleet downtime end‑to‑end, acting as the final escalation point for complex and high‑risk cases.
- Reconstruct each journey, consolidating all driver, internal, and partner inputs to fully understand what has happened and what needs to happen next.
- Take ownership of driver complaints and dissatisfaction, handling each case in line with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs and partners, holding them accountable to agreed timelines and standards.
- Collaborate with the Network Manager to strengthen partnerships and improve aftersales performance.
- Lead initiatives that improve vehicle downtime management, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce delays, and deliver better outcomes for drivers.
Qualifications
- At least five years’ experience within the motor industry aftersales sector, ideally within a main dealer or franchise environment.
- Strong understanding of service, maintenance and repair, warranty processes, and how OEM and dealer networks operate.
- Comfortable interpreting technical information from dealerships and OEMs, and challenging diagnoses, timelines, or outcomes that do not align with expectations.
- Full ownership of complex cases from escalation to resolution, driving the right outcome even in ambiguous situations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing complaints or dissatisfied customers within a structured or regulated environment.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously while maintaining full visibility and control.
- Confident leading difficult conversations, de‑escalating challenging situations, and communicating clearly and decisively.
- Ability to build credible relationships with external partners and hold them accountable.
- Analytical mindset to identify patterns in downtime, repeat repairs, and partner performance, using insights to support operational improvements.
