The Tesla Global Security team wants to make a difference, take security seriously and provide our customers, visitors and employees with guidance and support. Tesla has an outstanding opportunity available for a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operator III to join the Security Team at Tesla. The SOC Operator is responsible for triaging security reports, supporting emergency response coordination, responding to and validating alarms and other security alerts, and security risk monitoring and analysis. This position will be based onsite in Milton Keynes, UK.

The Security Operations Centre provides support and coordination to all sites within the EMEA region. This includes coordinating and facilitating the crisis management response to security incidents, regional security risk monitoring and analysis, and assisting with alarm monitoring services for Tesla locations across EMEA. The Security Operations Centre troubleshoots and escalates issues with the access control, intrusion detection and fire alarm systems.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor security alarms of Tesla locations throughout EMEA and dispatch personnel to incidents as needed.
  • Coordinate incident response, communicate with site points of contact and emergency services.
  • Assist with CCTV video requests and provide timely updates to requesters.
  • Document each incident that comes into the SOC and, if required, elevate it to management.
  • Produce risk assessments for new locations, high-risk travel or changes in location business types.
  • Coordinate with other SOC team members to ensure proper coverage.
  • Ensure the development of standard operating procedures and maintain the tempo of operations.

What You'll Bring

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Additional languages are advantageous.
  • Prior experience in dispatch, call centre or SOC is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of access control, surveillance and other security systems.
  • Knowledge of disaster management, active shooter, personnel management and crisis management is preferred.
  • Capable of multitasking and navigating ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment; enjoys challenges and problem solving.
  • Self-directed and capable of working with little supervision.
  • MS Office application proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, Power Automate/BI).
