As the Store Manager/Sales Leader, you are a high-performing, energetic member of the leadership team in your market, reporting to the Sales Leader for the North, and responsible for the flawless execution of your location's targets. You demonstrate an aptitude and bias towards developing and guiding people to excel in their roles. You are a front-line leader involved in the daily activities of your team, store operations, and customer interactions. You will support your team through training, coaching, motivating, and analyzing sales performance. You have a keen eye for operational details and the skills to drive improvements within the team. You can operate independently but work closely with the Sales and Delivery leadership in your country.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Store leadership to communicate and execute the vision, business needs, and strategies at your location.
  • Consistently coach, train, and develop Sales Advisors at your location.
  • Participate in and/or lead all sales, delivery, and personnel activities under the supervision of the Sales and Delivery Leadership in your market.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with Store leadership to track and manage progress.
  • Maintain operational oversight and translate business needs into actions on the floor.
  • Continuously seek improvement, providing a hands-on perspective to challenge and advise the Store manager on strategic and staff-related decisions.
  • Participate in delivery activities as needed.
  • Champion change management within your store and local market.
  • Ensure your team is equipped to meet sales objectives, including creating sales opportunities, scheduling test drives, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and driving new orders to enable smooth deliveries and high CSAT scores.
  • Seamlessly cover daily store management duties when needed.

Customer Experience & Brand Management

  • Ensure all employees deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Ensure all employees adhere to Tesla's Dress Code and Grooming Guidelines.
  • Collaborate on key events or demand generation activities.
  • Manage customer escalations effectively.
  • Guide employees in handling challenging customer concerns, supporting Tesla’s mission.
  • Master presenting, selling, and delivering the Tesla ecosystem.
  • Maintain facility and showroom standards.
  • Control store expenses, continually seeking cost reductions.

Employee Engagement & Development

  • Observe, review, and provide ongoing feedback on employee performance.
  • Coach and mentor staff, fostering inclusion and team culture.
  • Provide feedback on Sales Advisors’ performance to your Area Manager for growth.
  • Support training initiatives and follow-up.
  • Assist with recruitment activities as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Tesla policies and procedures.
  • Escalate personnel issues promptly to store leadership.
