We're at the GPT‑2 moment for world models and the next 12‑18 months will shape who leads this space! Odyssey is hiring across research, engineering, product, and operations, and we need an exceptional Recruiting Coordinator to help us build the team that will define this frontier.

What We’re Looking For

This is a critical people & operations role at Odyssey. You’ll sit at the intersection of recruiting, leadership support, and internal operations, enabling the company to hire great people and run smoothly as we scale—quickly. You’ll manage candidate coordination and recruiting logistics, support founders and leaders with scheduling and operations, and help build the systems that keep a growing startup organised. This role is ideal for someone who loves being close to the action and thrives in environments where no two days are the same. You’ll be a trusted partner to leadership and a critical part of the company’s growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Support interview scheduling across teams and time zones.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the process.
  • Coordinate interview logistics (virtual and in‑person), including candidate travel.
  • Maintain ATS hygiene and manage recruitment workflows (scheduling, feedback collection, tracking).
  • Ensuring timely and error‑free data entry across systems and tools.
  • Ensure every candidate has a high‑touch, high‑quality experience with Odyssey.
  • Partner with hiring managers to improve recruiting processes and coordination systems.
  • Provide calendar management and scheduling support for founders and leadership.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, external calls, travel booking, and expense workflows.
  • Support team events, offsites, special projects, and internal operations improvements.
  • Support onboarding for new hires.
  • Help document internal processes and run lightweight people and operations programs.
  • Assist with office logistics and general company needs.
  • Jump into high‑priority tasks as needed; this is a true startup role.

Who You Are

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and extremely fast‑moving environments.
  • A proactive problem‑solver who navigates challenges quickly and identifies solutions.
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Experienced with ATS, CRM, and project management tools (Ashby, Attio, Notion, Linear), as well as scheduling tools and calendar/email systems.
  • Background in recruiting coordination, executive support, HR ops, or team operations.
  • Experience in startup or high‑growth environments.
  • Nice to have: comfortable using Slack as a primary communication channel.
  • Bonus: experience working with founders and senior leaders.
  • Bonus: event planning, office management, or team‑building experience.

If you've ever built a process that didn't exist, fixed something nobody asked you to fix, and genuinely enjoy being the person who makes a complex machine run, please apply!
