As Operations Specialist, Used Car Imaging, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and Service teams to plan, coordinate and undertake used car photography and display at Tesla Trafford Centre and surrounding sites in the North. The ideal candidate will possess the technical and creative acumen to create, manage and maintain a quality and consistent output of used car images that adhere to the brand’s professional guidelines. This role directly supports Tesla’s mission by creating a scalable used car sales and delivery experience for our customers.
You will liaise with 3rd party vendors (Impel), local Sales, Service and Delivery teams to ensure vehicle refurb completion and readiness for imaging. The role is based at Manchester Trafford Park (80%) and involves travel to support other Tesla locations in the North (20%). The successful candidate will need exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, experience in photography and the ability to multitask effectively. They must also be able to work collaboratively with different teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a critical part in the success of Tesla’s Used Retail Operations.
What You'll Do
- Vehicle photography management – communicating with site contacts when vehicles should be photographed, ensuring timely accurate completion of vehicle photography.
- Vehicle display management – liaising with site contacts to ensure consistency with ‘Certified Pre-Owned’ number plates, spec sheets, vehicle placement at sites, regular valet, etc.
- Vehicle imaging – using the photobooth at Manchester and developing consistent image sets and videos (static and consistent background, set pre-requisites for number of pictures/angles required for each model).
- Image editing – overall image quality enhancements (if required), background unification, etc.
- Image/video upload online (OneDrive + Impel).
- Daily vehicle listing management on 3rd party platforms (e.g. Autotrader).
